PayPal order summary blank

I've been using Expression Engine Simple commerce without problems but have bought Membrr to get recurrent payments. With Simple Commerce on arrival at the PayPal site the Order Summary is populated with the name of the item and the amount. See attached screen shot of a test payment.

I've done a test payment via Membrr that has worked perfectly except that the item and amount were not displayed in the PayPal arrival page. Is that expected? Can it be fixed?

    Hello Peter,

The latest release of OpenGateway ( includes PayPal item descriptions like you've specified. To customize them (they are very generic), edit your /system/opengateway/libraries/payment/paypal_standard.php to customize the descriptions. You can search for "L_DESC1" to see the two variables to modify.

Thanks. Editing the L_DESC1 variable works for me.

However I now get the following lines in the PayPal arrival page "Your order summary":
    Descriptions Amount
    Item price: $0.00
    Item description: Recurring subscription $1.00
    Item price: $1.00

Is there some way to remove the 2nd and 4th lines above ( the Item price lines) which may confuse our subscribers? ie what I want is:

    Descriptions Amount
    Item description: Recurring subscription $1.00

    Hi Peter,

I have attached a new /system/opengateway/libraries/payment/paypal_standard.php. It should fix this problem for you.

Let me know if you continue to have troubles.

That is now very good. Thanks for superb service.

I've edite the L_DESC0 variable from
    $post['L_DESC0'] = 'Recurring payment'; to
$post['L_DESC0'] = 'Recurring subscription to Healthy Skepticism paying once a year automatically'; to make it even better for my needs.

What would make it perfect would be for the L_DESC variable to be the Plan Name. That's not urgent for me but please add it to your list of feature requests for when you have time.
